Parking Lot Line Painting
New parking lot line painting and faded line refresh, sharp, straight, and built for Minnesota winters.
What This Service Covers
Faded parking lot lines look bad, confuse drivers, and reduce the actual usable capacity of your lot. Sharp, freshly painted lines do the opposite, they tell customers your property is well kept, they maximize your stall count, and they make traffic flow obvious. LineCraft Striping handles parking lot line painting across all of Northwest Minnesota.
We work with traffic grade striping paint and a professional striping machine. Lines come out crisp and consistent at the right width for your layout. Whether you need a brand new design for a fresh blacktop overlay, a complete restripe over existing faded lines, or just a touchup, we handle the layout, painting, and cleanup.

Why It Matters
A well striped lot is the cheapest and fastest curb appeal upgrade you can do for a commercial property. It also reduces fender benders, ADA complaints, and tenant complaints, all of which cost more than the stripe job.
Pricing
Pricing depends on stall count, layout complexity, and whether it is a restripe or a new layout. Larger lots get competitive rates. Request a free quote and I will walk you through the numbers.
Our Process
- On site measurement and stall count, confirm what's actually out there now and what you want.
- Layout (for new jobs), we chalk mark a proposed layout so you can sign off before paint goes down.
- Surface prep, sweep and blow off the marking lines for clean paint adhesion.
- Paint with a self propelled striping machine for crisp, consistent line width.
- Stencils, arrows, ADA, and fire lane work added in the same visit.
- Final walkthrough, we walk the lot with you before we leave.
Materials & Paint
We use traffic grade waterborne striping paint specifically formulated for parking lots, bright, fast drying, and durable enough to survive freeze thaw cycling, plow blades, and road salt. Reflective additives are available on request.
When We Do It
Striping season in Northwest Minnesota runs from late May through early October. The earlier in the season you book, the more scheduling flexibility you'll have. Late spring and early fall typically have the best paint cure weather.
Frequently Asked Questions
How often should I restripe my parking lot?
In Northwest Minnesota, most lots benefit from a restripe every 2 to 3 years because of snowplow damage, salt, and UV fade. High traffic lots may need it sooner.
Do you stripe right after a sealcoat?
Yes, most sealcoats need to cure 24 to 48 hours before restriping. We coordinate with your sealcoat contractor so the timing works.
What time of year is best?
Late May through early October. Striping paint needs dry pavement, daytime temps above 50°F, and low overnight humidity to cure properly.
Can you stripe over existing faded lines, or do they need to be removed?
Most of the time we just stripe right over the old faded layout, the new paint covers the old. If your layout is changing, we can black out the old lines first.
How long is the lot out of service?
Paint typically needs 2-4 hours of dry time before vehicles can park on it again. We can stripe one half at a time so the lot stays partially open during the job.
