Warehouse & Industrial Floor Marking
Traffic lanes, work cells, hazard zones, and aisle marking that keeps your facility safe, organized, and audit ready.
What This Service Covers
A well marked warehouse floor isn't just paint, it's safety, productivity, and compliance. OSHA expects clearly marked permanent aisles and passageways. Your forklift drivers need to know where pedestrians walk. Your inspectors need to see hazard zones called out. LineCraft Striping handles indoor concrete floor marking for warehouses, manufacturing facilities, distribution centers, and shops across Northwest Minnesota.
We work with traffic grade floor paint and stencils that hold up to forklift traffic, pallet drag, and daily use. Whether you need a fresh layout for a new facility, a repaint of faded lines after years of wear, or new safety markings to pass an upcoming audit, we plan it out and apply it cleanly.
What's Included
- Forklift traffic lanes and pedestrian walkways
- Work cell, staging, and storage zone outlines
- Hazard areas, no go zones, and safety markings (yellow, red, black)

Why It Matters
Clear floor marking reduces forklift pedestrian incidents, speeds up daily operations, and helps you pass OSHA and customer audits. It's one of the cheapest safety investments you can make.
Pricing
Indoor floor marking is quoted per project based on square footage, layout complexity, and prep work needed. Most warehouse jobs are scheduled outside production hours to avoid disrupting operations.
Our Process
- Walkthrough with your operations or EHS lead to map the proposed layout.
- Surface prep, sweeping, degreasing, and (if needed) light grinding to give paint a clean concrete surface to bond to.
- Tape layout, we chalk and tape every line before any paint goes down so you can sign off on the layout.
- Painting in your chosen color scheme, typically OSHA yellow for aisles, red for hazards, white for storage zones.
- Stencil application, bay numbers, safety symbols, and any custom graphics.
- Cure time before traffic returns, usually overnight for typical floor paints.
Materials & Paint
We use industrial grade floor paint formulated for concrete in high wear environments. With proper prep, expect 3-5+ years of life under normal warehouse traffic before a repaint is needed.
When We Do It
Indoor floor marking can be done year round, the building is climate controlled. Evenings and weekends work great if you want to avoid disrupting your shift schedule.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will floor paint hold up to forklift traffic?
Yes, we use industrial grade floor paint specifically formulated for high wear concrete environments. With proper surface prep, marked lines hold up for years under normal warehouse traffic.
Can you work after hours so we don't shut down production?
Absolutely. Most warehouse and manufacturing work is scheduled evenings or weekends so your operation keeps running.
Do you handle floor prep, or do we need to clean it first?
We can sweep and degrease as needed. For floors that have been waxed or have heavy contamination, additional prep may be quoted separately.
Can you match a 5S color scheme we already use?
Yes, tell us your color standard (or share your 5S plan) and we'll match it exactly across the whole facility.
How long before equipment can drive on fresh markings?
Typical industrial floor paints want 2-4 hours of dry time before light foot traffic and overnight before heavy forklift traffic. We'll give you specific guidance based on the product and conditions.
